Remember if you reserve a machine tool outside the lab open hours, you need to make sure that a Lab Monitor will be available to open the lab.

Who's Authorized

When the machines are not scheduled  they are available for use by any authorized lab users who have been "checked out"  on Haas CNC Lathes at WPI.

To get checked out on a Mini Mill complete the ME1800 Lab Practical, or make an appointment with an Authorizing Lab Monitor. 

Procedures

• Register your project.

• Reserve a time to use the machine.

• Check In to the machine tool when you arrive.

• Fill out an operator checklist while using the machine.

• Report any problems.

• Clean the machine and the work area.

• Check out of the machine tool when you are finished.
